How to describe my home town? A sun-kissed skyline filled with greenery to each of this city’s far corners. With sorbet coloured sunsets, enchanting forests, ever-growing hums on the street of creativity and life cascading through the veins of Brisbane city.
I am proud to call this city my home and was thrilled when Marcs clothing asked me to share 3 of my favourite places to visit in Brisbane. I visited Sourced Grocer, Eat Street Markets & Pineapple Express Superfood cafe. With Marc’s StreetView mircosite, I was able to share these amazing places in real time. Before I go ahead with my Street View venture here is a little about the infamous Marcs clothing label. This Australian was launched by the creator Mark Keighery in 1979. From a small range of classic mens shirts, Mark expanded the brand and took on an european influence into an array of stylish basics for both sexes, their most famous pieces Elvis shirt, Carrie shirt, Brando tee and Pammy tee. Marcs takes pride in creating clothing that not only of quality & clean modern characteristics. Taking on the philosophy “grown-up cool” Marcs is internationally inspired & Australian at heart, that’s why I couldn’t resist the opportunity to showcase my favourite pieces.
Pineapple Express Superfood Cafe in Portside was the last stop on my adventure with Marcs clothing. I simply adore & admire their pursuit for all things good to nourish our bodies. This cafe has all the variations whether you are Paleo, Vegan, a fruit fanatic or just you! They literally have endless options, my favourites are the Tim tam Cocowhip, any Acai bowl & the Titanic smoothie. It’s definitely worth a visit if you are ever in Brisbane, with it’s friendly staff and gorgeous location right next to the Brisbane river you will not be disappointed! Make sure to visit their website here & get all the delish updates via their Instagram @pineappleexpresscafe.
My Marcs combo was harmonious with the Pineapple Express’s interior, it was brilliant! Marc’s Sofia Silk shirt in soft lemon (shop here) was the perfect burst of colour for this summery day in Brisbane. Paired with their versatile Tuck Front Midi Skirt in ink (shop here) & this adorable Tex leather mini tote (shop here), I was ready for the beautiful day ahead of me!
