My top 5 social media platforms that aren’t Instagram
The world isn’t just Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr you know!
When it comes to sharing my content online, I can get a little bit . .. well maybe just a tad over the top. Let’s be honest internet sharing can become an addiction, one minute I’m on Tumblr for my bog and my label, next Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and the list goes on! I could go on for days on how I change things up. But today I will break down the Top 5 social media platforms I love to share my content on along with reviews of their benefits. All of these platforms have iPhone apps also which is an added bonus, only 2 have an upload via web browser format.
Number 1 – We Heart It
Download the App | Visit Website
We Heart It was something I stumbled upon during my MySpace days, it is the more interactive & vibrant version of Tumblr catering to all things happy, inspiring and elevating! Last year I was bestowed the title of one of their Top 2015 We Heart It users (I’ve got a following of 90,000 on this platform!). The team at We Heart It are so lovely to interact with and they are changing everyday with interactive links for direct shopping, viewing Youtube videos, viewing your blog posts. They are very innovative! Check out my profile here.

Number 2 – StumbleUpon

Just like We Heart It, StumbleUpon has been the contributor to many late nights scrolling endlessly through a stream of content so perfectly tailored to my taste. You will be surprised how precise your stumbles will be! Only recently did I get the fact I could spread my own content on StumbleUpon. It’s great to direct traffic to your website and get yourself out there! Ain’t nothing wrong with some self promo girl! All you simply need to do is create an account & then add a page, you select what categories your piece matches & you are done! I use the website platform more than the iPhone, just because I enjoy looking through the suggestions on a bigger screen.

Number 3 –Sktchy App
This app is so beautiful! It’s a great way to share your content to other creatives to create even more innovative content. How it works is you submit an image of yourself, might be from a shoot or just a selfie. The image is submitted into the inspire database and then artists are free to use that image to re-create a drawing, painting etc, of you. I highly recommend it! It’s a great way to switch up your content and support other artists.

Number 4 – Feels
Download the App | Visit Website
Created in collaboration with Storm model management, this new platform is nearly just as good as Lookbook. The sad thing is that it is continuously updating, so sometimes it can be a bit buggy. But when it works, it works so well! You simply upload a picture of your outfit, tag the pieces you are wearing and then the Feels community has to approve it. This takes a while depending on what time of day you re uploading, I definitely recommend this app to people based in London. As they run many competitions to work with major brands that would be perfect for any local London fashion bloggers. The uploading format is only on iPhone so it’s great for on the go.

Number 5 – Steller
Download the App | Visit Website
THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE! Steller is my new Instagram, the benefits of this app for people who wish to share their content in style and with proper accreditation is endless! You can create your own blog post within this app via your phone. They have amazing themes you can select to add your text, imagery or video to along with hyper linked text! You have to try it!
