LARMONT SYDNEY – MY FASHION WEEK STAY
Boutique hotel heaven with Larmont Sydney
Welcome to my Fashion Week wrap and we are starting at Larmont Sydney from the very, very beginning! During Australian Fashion Week I stayed at Larmont Sydney located in the cultural hub Potts Point. This beautiful boutique hotel is located in one of the most iconic spots of Sydney and only a short distance from the CBD. On arrival Nick & I were greeted by the friendly staff of Larmont Sydney – instantly making you feel at home. We were taken up to our room on the top level and as we opened the door we saw the most beautiful view from this incredible suite.
THE SUITE
Besides being greeted with such a spectacular view of Sydney’s iconic harbour bridge and Opera House. We had this spacious suite to explore with a separate en suite with a gorgeous bath. You could really see the love that the awarding winning Hassell Studio put into the interior design. Even down to the simple artwork that hung on the walls in the room and through-out the Larmont.
The art work such a perfect match to my Dion Lee dress I couldn’t help but get Nick to take a snap of me and the art together.
The room has all you need for a night over in Sydney or for a holiday. With free high speed wifi, Smart TV, Apple TV, 25 square metre’s of space to move about in and a bed that feels like a cloud! You will feel well rested after a day of exploring Sydney’s CBD or a busy day at Fashion Week. It was the perfect spot to unwind during the Fashion Week madness! Oh and did I mention this place is pet friendly – isn’t that awesome? So you can bring your long life friend to holiday with you.
The Hyde Restaurant
This boutique hotel has The Hyde Restaurant – situated just left of the lobby entrance. Open from 6.30am till late you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner. With Sydney’s iconic Bambini Trust Restaurant & Wine Room head chef Christian Colognesi launching the Hyde Resturant – you will not be disappointed. With a gorgeous variety of vibrant, delectable and visually enticing food to eat. And yes my fellow vegan they offer plenty of vegan friendly alternatives.
Each dish is truly a treat and experience to remember. I must say I love a good avocado on toast with mushrooms and boy did they make the most divine one! Complimented with a almond milk cappuccino and delicious granola for Nick – voila! Which you can enjoy at the restaurant or take up to your room, whatever you prefer.
But the true challenge for any vegan foodie is dinner. When it came to dinner Nick and I were more than pleased to see a gorgeous vegan entree which truly was a work of art. Finished with a side of warm bread and eggplant pasta we were more than satisfied. It was great to laugh and chat with my fellow fashionista’s Yvette and Fiona while we enjoyed fine cuisine.
Yes the Larmont Sydney does have it all – I honestly would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Sydney. You can book here or follow the hotel on Instagram @larmont_sydney. I would like to thank the wonderful staff and Maureen for letting Nick and I experience Larmont Sydney and we hope to visit again sometime soon! They were the most warm and friendly team (honestly, truly) that I have encountered in the hotel business. Thank you!
