Australian Fashion Week lift off with Samsonite Australia

Get out your heels and your favourite little black dress, it’s that time of the year again… FASHION WEEK! To kick off my fashion filled week I teamed up with Samsonite to create a fusion between Australian fashion design and Samsonite’s sleek Octolite range. Bringing these two worlds together wasn’t hard to do. As they both share similar qualities, just like the innovative designs of Australian fashion designer Dion Lee as seen in the shoot with the Belted Shell Dress from Tyson & Peppa. Samsonite fuses together futuristic design qualities with stylish design, always exceeding expectation and inspiring the next frontier for travel luggage.

The Octolite range is absolutely my favourite (see my previous review of the carry on Octolite here). Why is this? Well when it comes to travelling and fashion, you need a) need a lot of space and b) a virtually weightless suitcase, Samsonite’s Octolite range knows how to give you just that! As I’ve mentioned before the Octolite Carry On 55cm Spinner (Buy Here)^ is so light, weighing in at only 2.5 kg, now that’s ultra light! When I took their largest Octolite 75cm Spinner (Buy Here)^ for a test drive, I never realised how light this Samsonite piece of luggage could be. It’s less than double the weight of the Octolite Carry On 55cm Spinner equaling only 4 kg in weight! Isn’t that marvellous?
