Commanding the storm in style

Only in my hometown of Brisbane would you go out on a nice day and then a storm comes raging through. Later it actually hailed! Now this outfit was inspired by the Australian designer Ellery. Nothing beats an oversized coat and a silky smooth dress. Now this dress design isn’t Ellery it’s actually a design from my own fashion label The Great Beyond.

I love mixing textures when dressing for colder climates. For example the coat is quite thick and heavy fabric while the dress is light. It’s like a dance of fabrics and as they are worn together it creates a wonderful harmony. Now if you want to check out more fabulous designer pieces make sure to visit The Fashion Concierge.
