Welcome to Brisbane boutique salon Atelier Christian Alexander in Fortitude Valley, where I indulged in a luscious hair treatment.  While sipping on champagne and painting my nails with their Smith + Colt nail polish I begun to unwind. Meanwhile my hair was soaking up a divine hair treatment by David Mallat and boy did my hair feel good!

 

First of all I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy this experience without meeting renowned make up and hair artist Dale Dorning. He has worked with celebrities such as Jennifer Hawkins, Mel B, Delta Goodrem just to name a few! While he isn’t doing make up and hair styling on photo shoots or for his fabulous clientele.  Dale works alongside the director of the salon Christian Alexander. Christian Alexander’s premier salon offers all treatments to have you leaving in style. Trust me my hair never felt better! Did I mention they offer champagne and manicures while you treat your self? It’s beyond fantastic.

 

Furthermore going to a salon like Atelier Christian Alexander gives you the experience of working with amazing Australian creatives. Also they have all the Versace interior envy you can dream of, it really is a feast for the eyes. While I received my hair treatment I asked what feel Christian wanted the Salon to have. And Dale said “a lounge feeling”, a place where you can unwind and indulge in comfort. In addition they have really good music taste too, I don’t know about you but when I  go places I love to hear pleasurable music. While that note might seem trivial I feel the ambience of a place comes down to how the interior, people and mood combine.
