“Embracing the colours of Turkey with Búl Clothing”

There is nothing more rewarding then working Australian Fashion labels because supporting local creativity is imperative to the growth of our home grown fashion community. I am so thankful to introduce to you Búl clothing, a Melbourne born womenswear label created by Virginia in 2010. Each collection is inspired by her travels, which helps bring each design to life. As every piece in each collection fits into a whimsical tale of the place she has visited. Points of view like this for fashion design always bring an interesting element to the designs, as it gives you the feeling of being apart of that adventure and to a further extend apart of the fashion label’s journey.

For this shoot Nick & I visited our local coastline of Redcliffe, where the tide is low and strips of land apart in the water. It was quite fitting to showcase the feel of adventure when photographing these pieces (bonus for me no heels!). Normally I am not one for colour and I was hesitant to take the plunge but after trying on these two pieces it was honestly meant to be! The two pieces I am wearing in the shoot are inspired by Virginia’s trip to Turkey. Can you see how these colours echo a memory of the Turkish coastline? Simply marvelous and dreamy.
