#DIONLEEFORTARGET x IS THE WHITE SNEAKER A WARDROBE ESSENTIAL?^

Do you need a white sneaker for a complete wardrobe or is it a fad?

When shooting this look a memory popped into my mind, the first pair of white sneakers I bought from Converse. It would have been Grade 8 or 9 and little did I know that this little white sneaker would be apart of my shoe family forever. That exact pair is still hanging out in my shoe draw in the garage and it is quite past it’s expiry date, it’s been taken overseas, to school camps and used just for everyday. Although I never took care of them, I feel the little scruff marks on my white sneakers didn’t bother me, (though it did my mother) they evolved into my customisation of the white sneaker. Loved and worn to shreds, this year I bought Nike White Wedges and dayummm they are the best! Unlike my Converse favourites I don’t think I will be treading them through muddy camp grounds just yet, but they will be a comfortable companion for my fashion week ventures.

So the question is… is the white sneaker essential to your wardrobe? In my opinion yes! Whether it’s a Superga, Converse, Nike or even Target there’s no harm in giving it a try! But it isn’t up to me, it’s up to you, comment your thoughts below
