BAGS TO GO X TFH – HOW TO PACK IN STYLE
BAGS TO GO X THE FASHION HEIST^
How to be pack octolite in style with Bags To Go
Whenever I need to make a quick trip to Sydney or Cairns to visit family, I have learnt that my old school method of packing is no longer viable! I’m kind of an all or nothing girl when it comes to packing, I used to believe I needed to get-it-all-in-there! But never fear getting a carry on suitcase has changed my mind set. I have to pack light! So in collaboration with Australian luggage company Bags To Go. I wanted to share with you, my fellow on-the-go travellers my secret tip for a killer multifunctional outfit! Along with introducing and reviewing my new Samsonite Octolite Carry On Spinner Suitcase.
I call it the tri-outfit, basically three pieces that can go from casual to a night out. So you need a base piece that is more than just a top or dress, it has to be multi functional. Like the inside of my Samsonite Octolite that has multi-pockets to keep your favourite heels or sneakers from damaging your clothing, it’s super handy check it out below!
My base piece is always the a white shirt dress (featured in the shoot & shop my favourite here), not only does it double as a shirt when tucked under my skirt, it can also open up as an light trench. Having more features than one is always a must when travelling, just like my Samsonite carry on suitcase can be used also as check-in luggage with a capacity of 35 litres (pretty impressive!). It’s octagon design on the spinner suitcase increases its strength with the added help from its super durable material to withstand the packing crew.
To finish my tri-outfit I added a wrap skirt (shop my favourite here) which is perfect for a business meeting or a dinner. Then for a more casual outfit I add my favourite ripped denim jeans (shop my favourite here). Add your favourite heel & casual shoe then you are ready to go!
Remember it’s best to opt for the lightest carry on suitcase, to make the best out of your travelling experience. The amazing Bags To Go team at West End Brisbane helped me find one of the lightest carry ons, the Samsonite Spinner suitcase (shop here) weighing in at 2.5kg (so light!). Just like my tri-outfit this carry on suitcase has so a bundle of must have features, from multi-pockets which I couldn’t live without and a built in ID tag (which is pretty nifty). Did I mention the double wheels that glide with ease, making this suitcase a breeze when quickly rushing around the airport from gate to gat. Oh and a bonus is the design, it is so chic and with clean lines also this mighty carry on comes in black and red too, I love it!
